Most products ordered from White Lotus Living, Inc. are shipped directly to you by the manufacturer. We value your business and because we want to provide you with a value to encourage your continued shopping with us, we offer special discounts and promotions to our loyal customers that are not always available to non-members. We're a small company with a heart, and we're dedicated to your health and well-being! When you order products from us that originate from multiple vendors, White Lotus Living pays part or all of your shipping costs in order to keep your total shipping and order price affordable and reasonable for you. Our products are priced very competitively as well.
For these reasons, and because we are dedicated to selecting your products very carefully through third-party research as well as our own testing, we ask you to think of us for all your safe product needs. How We Calculate Your Domestic Shipping Cost
Many, but not all of our manufacturers ship via USPS, using First-Class Mail® service and Priority Mail® service. Some packages under 13 ounces are sent First Class. The Postal Services requires packages over 13 ounces to be sent Priority Mail. Priority Mail service provides package tracking. First Class provides the date and time of delivery, not tracking.
Regardless of the actual freight carrier used, for cosmetics, personal care items and other small products, your shipping cost is calculated using USPS shipping rates, which are based on package weight, size and shipping distance. The shipping charge displayed in your shopping cart after you enter your shippng address is the amount you pay for shipping regardless of the carrier. USPS has been determined by many of our manufacturers to offer the most economical shipping rates, the best handling practices and quickest shipping for smaller items.
Free Shipping
When the price of your order being shipped within the continental United States exceeds $90.00, your order is shipped free. The order price is calculated after deduction of any coupons or gift certificates. To provide a comparable benefit, shipping costs for orders exceeding $90 to Alaska and Hawaii are benefitted by an $8 credit for shipping costs.
How to View Your Shipping Cost
The exact cost of shipping can be easily calculated in advance by adding the desired products to your shopping cart. Proceed to checkout and complete your name and address information. Click "Continue" and view the total postage due, based on your zip code and order specifications in accordance with the description above.
There is no obligation to proceed with the payment process after viewing the shipping cost. Your chosen items will remain in your Shopping Cart for 90 days if not purchased at that time. For your convenience, you may return and resume with the same order within the 90-day period of time if you wish, or you may delete the order.
How to Minimize Your Shipping Cost
Many of our products are offered in sample size at a low price to ensure you find the products you love! We encourage you to take advantage of this to minimize the cost of shipping and paying the higher price for larger sizes you discover do not meet your needs.
To minimize your shipping cost for orders priced below $90, ordering items from fewer manufacturers will result in fewer packages and fewer shipping costs being added to your order (shipping costs from each manufacturer are added together and totaled on your order).
Many of the products we offer are everyday items that you will need to reorder. Placing an order when you need multiple items, or ordering more than one of the items you need and stocking up may result in an order over $90, and therefore result in free shipping to the continental U.S., and shipments credited $8 for orders from HI and AL.

Delivery Time
In many cases, since our products are made by small manufacturers from herbs and other fresh plant materials, you are ordering cosmetics or personal care items that are made fresh to order rather than being drawn out of stock. This is a great advantage as it ensures freshness. It also means that some items may not ship immediately. Know that they are well worth the wait! Once you become familiar with us, you can adjust your order times accordingly. Following is an estimate of delivery times from each vendor:

Karen's Botanicals: Most orders ship within 2 business days of order receipt. Domestic orders are typically received within 5 business days. If you do not receive your order within a week after notification of shipment (5 days domestic, 10 days international,) please contact us immediately.
Shea Touch: Orders placed by 10 a.m. CST will ship the same day. Most shipments within the continental USA and Canada will reach their destination in 2 to 10 business days depending on the geographical zone. International destination may take longer.
